Their (possible) son, Jacob Clinton Meek, born 9/23/1823 in Tennessee, on the 1870 Atascosa County, TX, census. I would love to get more information from you if there is a match. Meek About Moses....Not to confuse one more...My family of Meeks had a Moses born in 1810-1811 Tenn. He also had a brother John ,born 1806 Tenn. This family can be found on the 1850 census of Milam Co. Texas. They were from Ar. This Moses was scalped and killed by indians near Bell Co. in 1852. This family lived in Mo.Stone Co. in 1870 and then on into Indian Terr.Ok. after 1870. They had brothers Lewis, Squire,Richard and were related to the Blevins and Roberts familys.
