Do you have info on the Moses Meek who received a land grant alongside the Duck River in Middle Tennessee? Apparently he was related in some way to the William Meek who was my ggggrandfather, who migrated to TN from IL to operate a mill on the Duck River and inscribed MEEK 1808 on a rock in the Duck River. The records of his land grant are clear. I don't know how he was related to my ggggrandfather or even IF he was related.
