Lived in Upshur Co. Texas In1850,were living in Wise Co. by 1860 and were in Earth and Hood Co. by 1870. They came to Texas from Tenn. Moses H. Meeks married Artemissa Davidson .They died in Ellis Co.Texas.between 1893 and 1896. Moses had three brothers that are mentioned in his will. They are John, Christopher and James. He has a sister Margaret and a sister Rachel. Margaret and rachel married Tidwells.
