Not sure of the answer to your question but do know that my greatgrandmother was placed there never to be adopted. Her parents did visit her until she was about 6 then she never remembered seeing them after that. Her birth record states mother Julia Boothby and father Tobias Holt. This Tobias married to Lydia may have been his nephew, son of John. I can not find anything in Maine on tthis Holt family.
