My Aunt Pearl (Gladys Pearl (nee Chapman) Brown) was in show business and was traveling with her agent to the next town when he fell asleep and hit a tree. He was OK but she was thrown through the windshield and killed. This was in 1928. When not performing she lived in Portland, ME. with her husband Frank L. Brown and her 13 year old daughter, Elizabeth. I know it was written up in the paper because my grandmother showed it to me back when I was just a child. I would love to have a copy of the story and obit but have no idea regarding the actual date and all those that knew are gone now. Any ideas? Thanks, Pamela Weeks
