Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JEB.2ACE/221.1 Message Board Post: I know this is a really long shot, but a Harrington family from the Portland area, Charles H. and Mabel White (Butters), had a daughter Virginia Ethel White Harrington, in 1916. who married a Mr. A.C. Brown in 1941. Their friends the Mortensens (distant family) were well known for taking in orphans...and they seem to have been Danish or Norwegian. I have been fruitless in finding any members of this family; I found a family bible at the dump years ago and have searched for some clues ever since. If this helps you at all I would be so happy.
