The plain and simple truth is Mr Sanborn you are simply soliciting business and yes I am grossly offended. My suggestion for this take out a paid ad someplace. These list are meant for at least I am under the impression for the free exchange of info between people helping others using this for profit simply galls me. During the course of a year I perform many look ups for people and as others have helped me in my research its nice to return those favors.

Seems like it might be time to close this particular discussion, although it is valid. But I have a slightly different slant, and think perhaps it was done fairly proper. He did not put his 'AD' in the email, only said that we might check out his site. This form of help seems to be done on several lists that I am on, and as long as the AD is not in the email, I appreciate it, as it is a way for me to find local help for an area that I finally realize I need someone in person to go and look at or find a record for me. As my ancestors were in ME/MA/CT, and PA and AL/TN and NC/SC, and KS/MO and I live in northern IN, this does help me. Just my thoughts. Susan E.
