Brewer. Later that same year he had a daughter Susan D. Moody born. 1842 prob. Ipswich, he had a son William born, 1845 prob. Gardiner, ME he had son James, then 1849 son Daniel, 1852 son Joseph H. Moody and 1853/54 son Edward Joseph Moody was born to Sarah and Joseph Moody. I have VR's on all of this, but cannot find a Birth or Death record for Dr. Joseph or ANY info on his parents Joseph and Hannah (Thomas) Moody. Please if anyone has info to share or you are able to do look-ups in Brunswick, I would be willing to pay for copies etc. I cannot beyond my 4th grt. grandparents, I have searched all I can from where I am, which is No where near Maine. Thank You very much for any help at all.

He was born circa 1933 to a Danish family in the Portland area. His father broke up the family after the mother died (of left). I'm guessing he was placed in an orphanage until the Heringtons adopted him at the age of 7 (1939, 1940). Does anyone know of any orphanages that exisited in Portland around that time? I've found the Holy Innocents home and the Children's Home of Portland. My search for the Heringtons has been unsuccessful. Thank you.

Michael W. Connors is listed in the Portland Directories until 1960, but is not in the 1961 directory. In 1960, he is still at 37 Whitney Street and listed as retired. His wife is listed as Mary M. I hope this helps and can look for further details in the directories, if you would like.
