Hi Cousins, I am thinking we have two Francis men running in the same time frame but I have nothing to back this up as of yet. I just got a Will for Francis Meador of Essex Co. VA listing some kids but no wife. Year is 1770. Now if this be our Francis, why did he move from Essex to Orange Co. and then back to Essex Co. I do not know. But, there is a deed made for year 1791 of a Francis and a Mary his wife of Orange Co. VA. So it would look as if we have two Francis Meador/Meadows going. Still working on this one too.
