One being William Bell wife Francis "Mary" Meadows Alcock. One being Ann Moss Meadows Bryson, hubby Richard Meadows, then hubby John Bryson. By what is said, the Will mentions Wm. Bell as witness to John Bryson's Will in Orange Co. VA which places both there. Both that seemed to have connections to Francis Meadows, or did they? Francis being on Tax list of 1756. John Bryson also. William Bell also. How does these people connect to one another? If Francis Meadows moved from Essex Co. VA, to Orange Co. VA, did he go back to Essex Co., a Will in Essex Co. VA dated 1770? If he died in 1770, how did he make a land deed in Rockingham Co. 1792? Do we have more than one Francis in early to mid 1700s? Does anyone have the 1755 Tax List of Orange Co.
