    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Meador, Hill, Seymour, Summers, Laughrey, Nash Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/IM0.2ACEB/429.1.6.1 Message Board Post: That would be great! I'm mostly concerned with where the descendants who live/lived in Texas. My great-grandmother was Dora Meador, the daughter of a sister to Elizabeth (I think). I was told by my grandfather, Robert Hunter Seymour, that Dora (his mother) had these parents: Elija Meador and either Fanny or Elizabeth Hill. I may be wrong on Dora's mother's first 2 names. But the Elija(h?) Meador is pretty certain. I believe a couple of the Meador boys married sisters. I have seen the marriage records of Thomas and Eliz. Hill online, but I do know that Eliga or Elijah Meador had 3 sons, 'Lige (after the father) , Will and Tom. I believe he named his sons after his brothers. My home email is : corlis.huitt@gmail.com. This is my work one, but it's ok for you to use it too. It's just that my databases (with gedcoms) are at home and I can't access them from work. I will send you an email from home with some of the info. that I am working from. Perhaps we can find th! e connection, I'm sure it is there. This is very exciting and I am very much looking forward to getting this worked out! Thanks so much for the reply!!!

    3. We have quite a confusion on the Hills here, as Elizabeth Hill, wife of Thomas Meador; and Eliz Hill, wife of Elijah Meador, were first cousins----the Meadors were brothers. Then to confuse you a little more, Col. James C. Hill's wife was Rebecca Mar Hill (no relation).... Contact me, I'll try to send a simpler way to read it. ginlu@adelphia.net Doris .... A Texan in Georgia... still shaking the family tree and dodging the nuts after 40+ years! ----- Original Message ----- From: <corlis.huitt@us.army.mil> To: <MEADOR-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, September 15, 2006 9:10 AM Subject: Re: [MEADOR] McGraw/Meador/Hill/Salemarion 1939 year book>>>Miscinfo > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Meador, Hill, Seymour, Summers, Laughrey, Nash > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/IM0.2ACEB/429.1.6.1 > > Message Board Post: > > That would be great!
