Tenn. on jury 822 - census 1830} dau. Frances Meador b. 1760- 75 in VA. married Charles Simmons ( son of George Simmons and Elizabeth? Charles died 1828 in VA Children of Frances and Charles: 1. Milley Simmons ( Minnie married Sept 29, 1806 to Jobe Meador Jr. ( son of Jobe Meador)) {a note reads :: to Jackson Co., Tennessee} 2. Joel Simmons b. 1780's, married Sept. 13, 1806, Bedford Co., Va. to Barsheba Wright ( dau. of Joseph Wright and Elizabeth Kemp children of Joel and Barsheba were Charlotte and Harriett. Harriett married Wiley Woodcock 3. Moses Simmons married Jan 2, 1797 to Aggy Meador (dau. of Jesse Meador) Children of Moses and Aggy were: Skelton Simmons married Jan 29, 1824 to Elizabeth Meador (dau of James Meador) Mary Simmons married April 14, 1821 to Jonathan Hopkins Moses married 2nd to Catherine Sense on Aug. 6, 1811 4. Elijah Simmons married Jan 14, 1805 to Rhoda Anderson (dau of Charles Anderson) 5. Rhoda Simmons married May 16, 1804 to William Woodcock. Clark b. 1825 Christopher Clark b. 1818 married Malinda ? b. 1825 children of Christopher and Malinda were: Gideon b. 1842 and Mariah b. 1844 Charles Simmons may have been brother to Thomas Simmons who married Anna Meador, sister of Frances.
