Hello Cousins, In my book... Josish Meador III's son or grandson, R.G. (Rufus) MEADOR, was a leading land developer in Athens, Princeton, and Flordia, prior to the Great Depression. He develped the Mercer Healing Springs and Hotel. He built a large brick general store in Athens as well as the best brick home, which today, is the restored home of Athens mayor, Robert Richardson, JR. It seems Rufus was an Athens Merchant. NOTE: for those of you that do not know, Athens is a small town located on RT. 20 heading towards Pipestem State Park from Interstate 77.
