WILLIAM MEADOR moved from Morgan Co., Ga. to Tenn., fall 1823; his wife, Jane or Jincey, died the following winter. Meador left his children, John T. and Elizabeth Meador, with relatives and moved to Dallas Co., Ala. where he died August 1824. The children's grandfather, John Meador, had died leaving them "a share in his estate" and their present whereabouts were needed. Contact, Ira Meador, Liberty Hill, Ala.
