Clear DayHad some problems with the text... so here it is again. Sorry about that. Seems to be a lot of Meador activity, so I thought I'd ask a question. I am a descendent of Ambrose Meador1 Thomas Meador (Alice Dowell)2 Frances Meador (Jacob Clemmons)3 Taylor Clemmons4. I have copied information from the Victor Meador book and also information from Opal Cox and Katherine Reynolds. However, the question I have is regarding another Thomas Meador Jr. son of Jubal Meador that was born 1800-1894. Thomas Meador Jr., married Rhoda Clemmons (whose parents are Jacob Clemmons and Frances Meador - from above). Thomas and Rhoda had children named: Ezra, Webster, James, Martha, Catherine, Gideon, and David. According to census records in Breckinridge County, 1860, Frances Clemons (Rhoda's mother) is living with Thomas Meadow. I'm trying to find out about this family and any descendants. I'm researching Clemons as well, and am trying to place where they were. At one time they were in Breckinridge County, and then J Taylor Clemons moved to Lee County Illinois. Unfortunately, I have two different "sources" - one saying he moved in 1838 and another in 1858. If anyone has information on this family, I would love to hear from you. Thank you.
