(AP) A collision of two patrol planes, first disclosed by a highway policeman wh found the wreckage of the planes blocking a road, kiled a Kelly Field flight instructor and a cadet early today. An observer was critically injured. Traffic on the road 12 miles north of San Antonio was blocked for several hours. The dead were Lieut. Harold H Jessen of San Antonio, and Cadet A. B. O'Brian the son of Mr & Mrs H B O'Brian of Grand Rapids, Michigan, a graduate of University of Detroit, class of 1939. Critically injured was George Meader, 23, son of Mrs George V. Meader, of Narrows, Virginia. He was a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic. The crash occured while the planes were returniing to their base because of weather conditions. Jassen's plane landed in a field then skidded 200 years onto the Fredericksburg Highway. O/brian's plane fell about 300 yeards from Jessen's.
