It looks like my Louisa Parker Meador married Willis W Meador , son of William and Mary Turner Meador. Sarah Jones was his second wife. Louisa died in the 1880's, but Sarah and Willis were still alive in the 1900's. I have not been able to find their graves and think maybe they were buried in Meador cemetery which was destroyed. As I may have mentioned I visited Midlothian and have photos of the graves there. I will check when I get back to see what else I have on the family. His son Samuel Davis Meador married Sarah Leona Cook. One of their children was my grandmother, Sallie Mae. WILLIS father was WILLIAM R MEADOR b 26 Apr 1786 in Bedford CO VA; WILLIS mother was MARY TURNER b 23 Jan 1791 in Cumberland CO VA. WILLIAM R and MARY married 30 Nov 1809 in Smith Co TN. The information I have shows that WILLIS had a wife named Lovina ? And sometimes a Sarah Jones shows up, as well. Samuel Davis had 5 children: Sallie Mae, Benton McMillon, william B, and Delia B. and Cager Martin. Sallie Mae, b 12 July 1893 in Midloathin, TX, married William Pinkney Killebrew. They had one child, my mother, Frances Louise. Will Killebrew died in Dec 1918 in Waxahachie. I have his orig funeral notice and several newspaper clippings of his death. My mother was only 4 yrs old when he died. Benton b 15 Aug 1890 in TN, married Mary Aly, 20 July 1913 and they had no children. He served as chief of police in Saginaw TX and died May 1970. Delia B b ca 1888 in TN fell off the radar. I believe she married a man named LOWRANCE as I have one little picture my mother identified as her on the back. I have tried running down several threads. William B b 26 Jan 1877 in Macon Co, maried Jessie Utopia Clanton25 April 1900. She was born 1 Apr 1882 in TX and died 13 Apr 1964 in Midlothian. I know they had at least 3 children: John D, Maurine and Charlie. Cager Martinb 5 Aug 18789 in Macon Co Tn, maried Frances A "Fannie Miller about 1901. Fannie was born in AL about 1881.Cager died in June 1932 while serving as a Waxahachie town policeman. He had a stroke at the county jail after arresting 2 men for moonshining. I have the orig newspaper clipping of his death as well as 2 letters to my grandmother, one from her brother Benton, and one from a woman named Martha (Mrs. JP) Taylor. Martha refers to my grandmother as "sister" but I have not found the connection. I believe she must have been cousin or perhaps a sister to Sarah Leona Cook who did have a sister Martha. Other survivors are listed as: Mrs. Rufe Clanton of Okla City, Mrs. Parks Taylor of Ennis (Mrs. JP?), Mrs. Arthur Lowrance of Ferris, and my grandmother, all lilsted as "sisters"; also 2 brothers, Will B and Benton. I do not believe Cager had any children as none are listed as survivors. I have some information on WILLILAM E MEADOR that married Laverna E, and had a child named Jessie E. in 1910 in Midlothian TX.
