Hello Meadors.... We have had some crises here at our house, and everything was dropped for awhile. I've been working on catching up; my mail is still about a week behind, and my e-mail has over 1,000 messages. I'm going as fast as I can, but in the big middle of this-----my computer crashed and I lost all my address book. Can you believe the bad luck? Well, I'm going to try to recoup as I go, and try for the addresses of those who were communicating privately with me. Please pray for my family, we are in the midst of a very costly and cruel custody battle---our granddaughter's son [41/2 yrs old] has been taken by his father. The father filed depositions that were untrue [said he had been given custody], and without double-checking it out they issued a pickup order for the child, who was in GA. His father now has him in OR. Now she has to go through the hearing here in GA, and the custody trial in OR is set for Aug 29th. This from a man who, along with his parents, tried desperately to get her to have an abortion before the baby was born! Enough of that, but I do apologize and ask that if I owe anyone answers, etc, you will please contact me. I am researching the LE FEVRE family from my Great-Grandparents to current. My GGp's are: Leander Lincoln LE FEVRE (b: 2 May 1868 ; d: 22 September 1936) married on 7 December 1892 to Fanny Rutt EBERSOLE (b: 24 June 1873 ; d: 8 April 1956). They had 14 children one of whom is my Grandfather. My Gp's are Elmer Rutt LE FEVRE (b: 17 December 1906 ; d: 29 March 1980) married on 6 April 1935 to Carrie Mae HECKMAN (b: 10 July 1911 ; d: 18 March 2000). They had two children one of whom is my father. My p's are: Glenn Charles LE FEVRE (b: 13 June 1944) married on 12 June 1965 to Eliane Marguerite TEIXIDO (b: 5 May 1945). They had 4 children one of whom is me: Debra Kay (LE FEVRE) RIES (b: 31 January 1972) married 13 November 1992 to Joseph Dean RIES (b: 15 November 1966). There is a lot of information that I have but even more that I don't have. I lost my Uncle Paul (my father Glenn's only brother) in January of 2000 and just lost my GrandMother Carrie in March of 2000, so completing this family tree is very important to me. I had no records past his children, and I only have one Joel Meador b. 1803, Franklin Co. VA. I do have records however of his ancestry back to Ambrose Meador b. abt 1610 England d. in VA.
