    3. Do any of our group have a DAR Lineage? There are many indications that our family was in the Virginia army during the Revolution, but has anyone done the work to get a family member in the DAR. If so, it would be a lot easier for the others of us to tie to that lineage rather than start from scratch. WWP Linda & Warren Pearce Colorado Springs CO 80919-4821

    1. [MEADOR-L] Re: [MEADOWS] Jobe Meador(b. 1704), need help
    2. Hi Robin, Doris and others, I am trying to unwind those Meadors who were in early Jones and Carteret Co., NC. Apparently these are the families of old Job(e) (b. 1704, VA) from Rappanannock, Lancaster, and later, Essex Co., VA. He was the son of old John Meadors (1659-1721) and the brother of Jason(d. 1774, Anson Co., NC). With the exception of the censuses, very little seems to be known about these particular Jones/Carteret ,NC, Meadors and I am having great trouble trying to place these people into generations and specific family units by using only the censuses. So, any form of a tree would be beneficial - anything will help. [email protected]
