    3. Hi Cousins, Book ... Federal Land Series Vol. 2 1799 - 1835 by Clifford Neal Smith John Medearis Number ? May 12, 1802 100 acres May 12, 1802 100 " May 12, 1802 100 " Status not stated for the Army. There are three entries on the same day for the same number of acres. This could be war record number or land grant number, I assume it is Army Land Warrants. He could have fought in two wars. One is the Revolutionary War 1776 time frame. The other is the War of 1812. Medaris Survey number #1748 Warrant of Land Grants in VA military "District of Ohio" Did not give war record number. He could have fought in two wars. One is the Revolutionary War 1776 time frame. The other is the War of 1812. These are the two clues and look sees for you. Also, do not confused with District of Ohio with the State of Ohio. There is a District of Ohio in VA. I just can't recall where it was because it has been a very long time since i saw it on microfilm. Take Care all, Robin ____________________________________________________ Yahoo! 3. Hi Cousins, This small article came from the Virginia Gazette Newspaper. They had another article on Jesse but I must have over looked getting this one. Dated... Nov. 21, 1777 "Strayed from my plantation in Cumberland, about the first of August last, a bay colt two years old last spring, with a star in his forehead, his hind feet white, not deckt, but branded on the near buttock I M in a piece. Whoever gives me such intelligence as I get him again shall be handfomely rewarded." Jehu Meadow Take care cousins, Robin __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? 3. (Redirected by "DC & Alice Allen" <dcaallen@pacifier.com>) Hi Family, I just got back from a few interesting days at the LDS Library in Salt Lake City looking for documentation tieing Isham and Eli Meador together. That has been the big mystery for lots and lot of years!! I ran across several documents with a "Meadows Heritage" name and a Charlotte Alford, 4250 S Olive, #112, Denver Colorado. I did a lookup on the web for Charlotte and didn't get a response. Is the Meadow Heritage group still active??? Does anyone have a up to date address/phone for Charlotte? Thanks WWP Linda & Warren Pearce Colorado Springs CO 80919-4821
