We have quite a confusion on the Hills here, as Elizabeth Hill, wife of Thomas Meador; and Eliz Hill, wife of Elijah Meador, were first cousins----the Meadors were brothers. This Col. James C. Hill is my 3 gr grfath. He's well known in the Tyler TX area. I'm also a descendant of Thomas Meador & Eliz Hill. My husband comes from the same line you mentioned, only Jonas' and Frances (Hudgens') son, Jonas B is where we break off...to Joel and Susannah (Clark)..to his son Jesse, and on down to us. I looked up Jonas and Frances' family page and...funny...Josiah is the only Meadows on the list.. how is that? Perhaps Robin can help us???? I am really confused!!
