    1. Re: [ME-CENSUS] DODGe/BROOKINS clarification
    2. Hi Sally, Thanks for your help with these people. Mial and Betsy lived in Unity Plantation for awhile, and at some point moved into the Town of Unity. They sold their property in Unity Plantation to George Brookins, whom I believe to be Betsy's brother at this point. If that proves to be the case, then I think you just gave me Betsy's parents (living with George). The Waldo/ Kennebec county line separates Unity from Unity Plantation, which confused me for a long time. I was trying for the 1870 census, because I figured it should have all of their kids in it. One might find something in 1860, but I might miss some younger children. Not many, though, because Betsy was abt 37 in 1860. Do you have the 1860 census available to you? If not, I'll make another request. No, so far you are the only one I have gotten anything from, and I thank you very much! I saw a submission that suggests Mial and wife were in Waldo County,Unity, so am now looking through that for you. Holler back if you've already gotten the look up done! >>
