Greetings, This is my first posting so hope I am doing this correctly. I ma doing research on my Bartlett family and have reached a wall. Have been able to get back to my g,g,g grandfather John Bartlett. Information I have is that he was born in Mt Vernon, Maine in 1803 and married Climena Lyons in 1821. I have not been able to find names of John's parents anywhere. I have not checked the census. I do know that later they lived in Mattawamkeag and Medway area and are both buried in Mattawamkeag, Maine. My line is as follows: John married Climena, his son Timothy, married Marie McNutt (also have information showing her last name was Wiggins and/or Merritt), Timothy's son,Jerome (married Josephine York) and Jerome's son,Fuller, married Barbara Baldwin. Would you be able to look in the census and see if this John is listed and if his parents names would be there?
