Hi Lezlie ~ I found several marriage certificates at the Maine State Archives online for Bridges in Monticello, including one for your Laura Blanche, and have listed each one below ~ I would suggest contacting the archives to obtain a copy of Laura's marriage certificate which should list her father and mother's names (instead of just initials) ~ Having your grandfather's name will make it easier to locate him in the census ~ Upon a quick search of the 1900 census, there were no Bridges with the initials of C.A., no bridges with a first name that started with a C in Monticello, but there was an Alford C.
