    2. I also have Tompkins in my line so I asked one the people in my group if he had anything on your Jacob. Below is his reply. Maureen in Bangor Maine Hi Maureen: I don't think any thing will be found on Jacob. I believe he died in New Brunswick. Son Oscar with his mother came to Bangor, when I don't know. Here is what I have. Start with the 1900 census and go back from there. I don't remember if the 1900 census will tell you when they cross the line.
