Betsy, I tried to find your family on the 1900 census film but couldn't find them there. However the film gets really dark towards the bottom and is illegible. I own the CD set for the 1880 census so I looked there and I think I have found them. They lived in Woodland Maine (Aroostook County, the other Woodland is really Baileyville) It says: Petterson, Anders age 34 from Old Sweden Anna age 26 from Denmark Alma age 3 John 5 months.
