Hi Maryann, Thanks for the look up. Remi Thibodeau who was born 1877 is too young; my Remi was born 1856. The second peice of information was interesting. I have a Jame "Remi" Thibodeau married to Olive Gagnon 3 jul 1880. I think this date is a church record. I'll have to check. Could Garnecin be a dit name for Gagnon? No need to answer that question; I know where to go to check dit names. Thanks alot for your help.
