Hi, Malinda PEASLEE was born 10 Nov 1836, at Chatham, Somerset co ME, per the 1860 IA census. IGI has her listed being born in Medford, MA. Her parents were Daniel PEASLEE and Hannah LONGFELLOW, according to a bible from a nephew at Medford MA. Is anyone familiar with this family, especially the origins of Hannah LONGFELLOW? Dave....Is this the Daniel Peaslee that purchased land in NB with a group of investors? And did he have a son named Wilbert Nicholas Peaslee born abt. 1824? Daniel is the only Peaslee I have found in Canada during Wilberts birth, and according to the WI census they were born in ME.
