Just wanted to let all of you know that I am no longer the admin for these Census Lists - your new admin is Kelly. I apologize for the multiple postings that some of you will receive. I enjoyed the fact that I had most of the northern New England states except for Massachusetts but, I had it surrounded. LOL I have enjoyed being the admin since the list was created earlier this year. It has been an experience! I wanted to give back to the community that gave me so much. I love genealogy!! With my job ending next month (Oct 1) and travel plans for a well deserved break, I will not be online for awhile. I will rejoin the lists as a subscriber when I return in November. I hope all of you 'find' what you are looking for on these lists and remember to keep trying. I get to treat myself to my first visit to Salt Lake City in October. I am very excited about and am spending lots of time getting organized and planning my research. I hope to knock down some brickwalls that I have and 'source' some of my data. Thanks to these lists and some others I have gained new leads and interesting information. My GRACE line from Bennington, VT were found in an Burlington orphanage in the 1880 census -- I never would have known that if it hadn't been for Judy. And, then many thanks to the Maine researchers who have helped me with my MUNSEY and DOWNING queries. For all of you who have gone the extra mile and remembered me while performing your own research - THANKS!! I hope one day I possess some snippet of information that helps all of you.
