Many thanks to you (Riwilak@aol.com) - that was helpful information and answered a couple of questions. May I make another request - the Joseph Green Merrill you found was the father of Joseph Greenwood Hill. I had assumed Joe II was in Yarmouth - apparently not. Would you be kind enough - is there a way, if not inconvenient, to see if there are any other Joseph Greenwood Merrill's in ME for 1880? He would've been married to Helen Marr Drinkwater Merrill. Both died after the 1880 census and to my knowledge, they didn't leave Maine. Again, thank you. One more question - would you know if anyone has any other censuses from 1850-1920? With appreciation, Nancy
