If not, than I believe there is someone else who is researching the same line as you. You may want to order this record from the Maine State archieves or the town of Greenville. This info is from the State Archieves index online URL: Maine State Archives - Marriage Search Form http://thor.ddp.state.me.us/archives/plsql/archdev.Marriage_Archive.search_for m Bride Name: PLUMMER BEATRICE E Bride Town/State: BANGOR, ME Groom Name: KING JOHN A Groom Town/State: GREENVILLE, ME Date of Marriage: Monday March 24, 1924 A copy of this record should give names of the parents. Also try typing in only King into the Grooms surman box and you will all the Kings in Maine for those years. Then include Greenville in the search to narrow your search and look for possible close relatives! The 1930 Census will be relaesed to the public in April 2002. If you know what town they lived in that year, you will be able see the names of children born up to that point. MARION, WASHINGTON CO., ME Page: 659 The full census will give you much more info of course. You might try to find someone in these counties to do a lookup or rent the film from you local LDS Family History Library. I had a number of relatives in a couple of couonties, so I ordered the CD from Heritagequest.com and found lots of info and other relatives that way. They are very reasonable. Deb T. Grant and Elizabeth. in Maine. Some family members say the Bar harbour area, but that isn't certain.Brother Charles Grant was born approx 10 years later in Delaware. By the 1880 National index Elizabeth was married to Dennis Minner of delaware. Both this index and the Census of 1900 lists cyrus' birthplace and that of his parents as Maine. Is there anyway of checking a list of Grants in Maine in 1860,their spouses names and if they had a male child born in feb 1860. Any clues or assistance greatly appreciated

    3. I've just joined this list so not sure what it's all about. If I'm out of line please, just tell me. I'm looking for the family of Allan HALEY. Allan was born in N.S. March 18, 1847. When a young man he went to Maine and became the owner of "HALEY LOGGING COMPANY" Allan married - his wife was Mary Robinson. They had at least two children, Myron and Hattie. I would like to know if this family appears in the census for Bath or surrounding area. I don't have a death date for Alan, nor birth dates for his wife and children. Now, I'm not sure if you can provide this type of information - if not, I'll understand. Thank you so very much for your attention. Gloria (Haley) Blanchard

They had three children that I'm aware of but have no idea when they were born. Children: Josiah J. MARR born ? Martha A. MARR born ? William W. MARR born ? Charles R. MALCOLM married to Elizabeth/Lizzie G. GIDDINGS, 1 March 1879 at China, Kennebec, Maine. She died in 1885 and is buried at Chadwick Hill Cemetery, South China, Kennebec, Maine.
