Hi, I am looking for any listing for Walter S.Young, born Oct. 1861 in Maine. Also in the Columbia and Columbia Falls area I have found Wallace Young born 182/3 (1880), Charles S. Young born 1842/3 (1880+1870), and George A. Young born 1850/1 (1900+1880+1870). All with fathers being born in Scotland, which I think would make them Walter's brothers or cousins. I am especially interested in finding Walter's father's name. He would be listed I hope with his father in the 1870 and perhaps the 1880. Or any listing of Wallace, Charles, George, and or Walter as part of a family with parents names. Possible in the Eastport or Lubec area. Thank you Lucia Williams-Young

Would appreciate a lookup in the 1870 census or census index for my Jennings family. Two of the children, Ann and James moved to Boston about 1864. I can't find the rest of them in Massachusetts in 1870, so they may have stayed in Maine. I can't find them anywhere in 1880. Francis and/or Agnes may have died before 1870. The children with their approximate ages are: Felix or Phelix, age 32 Alena?, age 24 Johnelle or John, age 22 Peter, age 20 Agnes, age 18 Bernard, age 16 Bridget, age 14 Thanks once again, Paula

first it helps a lot to give the county, some of us aren't familiar with the states we do lookups in so have to search for a county first. I picked Farmington county, there were 10 other Thomas Rigers in ME 1850, oh and you didn't name a year to do the lookup in so I picked 1850 since it is the first census to name persons by names. 31/32 Thomas Rogers 63 m pedlar 525 ME Rebecca 61 f ME William 19 m laborer ME Judy & Gus AKA FoxHollow's Gentleman Gast'on CGC,NA,NAJ http://www.geocities.com/funnfur/Gus_the_TFT.html
