Hello all: I was at the Wicomico County Courthouse last year looking for some papers regarding the estate of one of my ancestors. I copied a listing of many names of deceased people one of which was my ancestors. It gave decedents, name of executor/administrator, date of bond penalty, name of Securities etc. My question is - would the Date of Bond Penalty be the date that the person died or, at least, near the date the person died? Unfortunately, I was new to the records there and had to leave so did not ask the lovely, helpful people there this question? I am trying to "zero" in on the actual date of death of my ancestor. Thank you for any help- Ahlive
