I am looking for any information about Isaiah CRANKFIELD, sometimes spelled as CRANFIELD or CRANFILL, believed to have come to Kent Co. Delaware in the 1700s, perhaps at the same time as his brothers Moses and Hezekiah Crankfield/Cranfield/Cranfill. This family is believed to have originated in England, but we have not yet found any record of their crossing. We do know that Hezekiah Crankfield fought in the French and Indian War, and in the Rev. War at Guilford's Courthouse in North Carolina. We do not know for a certainty where Isaiah and Moses went, but possibly to Maryland and the Carolinas.
