Hello Fellow Listers: I am attempting to locate information on the ancestry of Levin Malone b. 8/21/1823, d. 4/28/1906. He is buried in the Washington Methodist Church Cemetery in Wicomico. His brothers were Henry and Lemuel. I am actually tracing Henry's line, but I am hoping Levin may lead me to their parents' names. I can not locate Levin's name on a death index in the Archives. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place. Is anyone familiar with this Malone family? Hope to hear frome somone. Karen Florida

I have a Lemuel Woodland Malone who was a son of William (b. 3/20/1815; d. Nov. 15, 1872) and Sallie Virginia Pryor (b. 9/16/1827; d. 7/28/1898) Malone. Perhaps he was named for someone in William's family. My Malone connection is my ggrandmother, Adel Malone White, whose parents were John Malone and Roseanna Abbott. I've not thoroughly researched the Malones but these mentioned were all in the Siloam/Allen/Shad Point area of what's now in Wicomico County. I'll be glad to share some info I've gathered which includes Malones through other family connections if you're interested.
