    1. F.Asbury Taylor
    2. Hello All: I am trying to make a connection with someone of the family Francis Asbury Taylor. He was born about 1820 (don't know where) and died between 1887 and 1889. His first wife was Mary J. Cantwell who died in 1862 and his second wife was Mary Coombs. Some of his children were Edward F., Elizabeth E., Charles I., Maude, Ernst E., and McFadden (my grandfather). I do have them located in several census and his estate papers were filed in Wicomico County but I have no idea where he was buried. I do know his first wife Mary J. Cantwell is buried in the Taylor cemetery off of Nanticoke Road outside of Salisbury but Francis A Taylor or second wife Mary Coombs Taylor are not buried there. Since his first wife is buried there along with Icabod ,Orlando and George Handy Taylor I think there has to be some connection between Francis A. Taylor and the other Taylors there but I cannot find any right now. Would anyone know if there is a connection (maybe brothers, uncles) or would anyone know where Francis A. Taylor is buried. Would really appreciate making a connection with someone - thank you - Ahlive

    1. Wicomico County - McGlaughlin - Cooper - Taylor families
    2. KG
    3. Hi. I'm researching my McGlaughlin family line and connecting families. On April 6, 1875 - Isaac J. Cooper married (widow) Mary Ann McGlaughlin in Wicomico County. (Mary Ann previously lived in Cecil County with her husband John. He drowned in the Potomac River 1872). Isaac & Mary Ann later lived in Virginia in Northumberland County, as Mary was said to have died there on January 12, 1883. It didn't say that she was buried there. Though, through research, I've come to believe that Mary Ann is buried somewhere in or near Wetipquin. Also, there was a mention of a Seth & Rex living somewhere near Shad Point. I think Seth & Rex were brothers. I was told that a Seth & Rex Taylor lived around there. I'm not sure how they are connected to the family though. If anybody has any information regarding these families, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks.

    1. Spear Family
    2. Donald Drury
    3. Dear Folks, It seems from the following data that this family was from Wicomico County. Can anyone help with more information about them, especially about Moses Spear and his family. I believe that Moses and his family moved to Jefferson County, Kentucky after the revolutionary war. He most likely had a daughter named Mary among his other children. I have a marriage bond citation for Mary in Jefferson County, Kentucky on 30 December 1781 in which Moses Spear stood bond. Any and all informaation will be greatly appreciated. 1. 1600s and 1700s information
    2. I am looking for any information on Longworths as early as the middle 1600s. Three brothers born after 1635 were born in VA. The brothers had a falling out and one branch of the family went to Maryland. I am trying to find that branch of the family. Any Longworth info for the 1600s or 1700s is very much appreciated. Not sure which Maryland County they ended up in. Patricia
