I found out info through Roots in the 1880 U.S. Census for the Parsons District. My great grandfather was Danel H. (b1862or 3). His parents were Minos (b.1834 or 5) & Mary A. (b.1844 or 5). Their other children were: Minos H., Clayton J., Ebenezar, James I, Mary H, and Laird T. I hope that this info might help you with your search. Since I can only trace back to Minos (1834) I would appreciate if you happen to see his name in any of your searches. Good luck!

    2. Hello All: Is there anyone who could do a lookup for an obituary? The person I am looking for died in either April or May of 1889 - I do have copies of his estate papers which were filed on May 28, 1889 in the Wicomico County Courthouse so I "presume" he died close to the filing of these papers. Of course, I would be willing to pay for any expenses involved. Thank you - Ahlive

Morris Purnell is his nephew and is 14. Rebecca Morris aged abt 85 is his mother and Mary B/R Vincent 90 is his aunt. Rebecca Morris was born Rebecca Mathews and married Samuel Livingston. I don't when she married Unknown Morris or how mary Vincent came to be James' aunt, or what kind of aunt she was. In the 1880 census these folks are living with Morris families on either side of them. Does anyone know the particulars?

    2. Hello All: Am looking for any information about a Francis A. Taylor (or F. Asbury Taylor). First wife was Mary Cantwell and second wife was Mary Coombs/Combs. From various census the children were Edward, Mary, Lizzie, Charles, Martha, Ernest and perhaps more. Francis A. Taylor died in 1889 - would like to know where he is buried.
