    3. Do you or anyone out there have any information on the parents of Priscilla Figgs the wife of Benjamin Carmean. They were my great-great grand parents through their daughter Mary E. Carmean who married Levin Buchanan Disharoon. Their son Levin Wilson Disharoon, my grandfather, married Clara Dickerson Sturgis. Her mother was Mary Elizabeth Figgs married to William Thomas Sturgis. My mother and uncle always said that my grandparents were cousins and I wondered if this was through the Figgs. However, so far I can't find anything on Priscilla Figgs at all. Can anyone out there help me? After Minos died in 1889, she married William Cox and there was three children. If you want to send me your e-mail, I will send you what information I have on my grandmothers side. Barb.

I have a list of Brewington names that was sent to my mom from a friend of ours researching and a name I seen on your message is 1 on my list which is Hannah Brewington which should date her on my list about the same as your Hannah Brewington. Her parents name is suppose to be by my records Bill (Indian) Brewington (which was an indian who dropped his name and given this name by a white neighbor whose name was also Bill Brewington). She later married a white orphan boy named Simon and he was given her Brewington name. Does any of this connect with you?

    3. Our William Bing (Byng) is found in Caroline Co. in 1790 and 1800, and in Salisbury MD in 1815. After that, we've lost him. He may have been a career military man, as Maryland military records indicate he served on a court martial board. If anyone has access to military records around 1815 or any other records, (would he have paid taxes or owned land?) a lookup would be very sincerely appreciated. He is our brick wall.
