    2. James L. Rader, 2633 Gilbert Way, Rancho Cordova, California 95670-3513 has compiled many pages of "Rader, Reader,Raeder,Roder,Roeder,Rotter families in America'. I have Volumn II titled Virginia and North Carolina Pioneers...dated 1995. There are a number of pages concerning Rader's etc. in Pennsylvania. If you have specific question I will be happy to search for an answer. The earliest Adam Roder, born circa 1645, died in 1723 in Mardach,Rhineland,Plaltz. He married Anna Marie b1644-d.1/18/1723 in Switzerland.Her second husband was Christian Wix ( Wicks). They lived in Mutterstadt, Germany and moved to Pennsylvania.Betty

I found him along with a Ben Reader near my Corder ancestors in the tax lists for Shenandoah County ca 1800. Henry Reader was the bondsman for Elizabeth Mahoney and John Cordor in 1802. My research in Shenandoah has produced only a few records on these families.
