The 'book' I was referring to is a history of a Talhelm family and one just written for family . It is not a hard bound book. One of Jacob and Barbara's children was named Luke Taulhelm Maugans. I will send the copy of this photo in about 4 weeks. I have a nasty sprain of my left ankle and cannot drive for a few more weeks. REAL NUISANCE! You will be delighted with the resources you find in Washington Co. and Frederick Co. libraries and courthouses. Bothof these cities have an Historical Society as well. I know what you mean about being a family genealogist. I have 2 and 3 great grandmothers for whom I do not parents or even maiden surnames. These ladies are hard to locate. I will keep my eyes open when I next go to Frederick library. Betty
