Unfortunately some of his sons were dead and their descendants are just listed as John's heirs, Peter's heirs, and Stephen's heirs. Others listed are Elizabeth WOLF, Jacob, Henry, Catherine SMITH, Philip and Paul. There was no widow listed. Some of these people are tied to Sharpsburg in the newspaper extractions. There is a Peter GROVE whose daughter Ann married David HESS - he was deceased in 1825 - and extractions tie him to Berkeley Co. VA.
