My questions is regarding available resources. I've read postings on the internet stating census information which included how much produce, livestock, etc in detail that a family had. Have I missed that somewhere? Is it available somewhere for Fred. and Wash. counties? Also, what tax information is available for those counties? Cindy Hoffman
I would assume these are agricultural census returns or perhaps tax lists that you are thinking of. The LDS FHCenters have pamphlets of all states and many foreign countries that might help you with an overview of what resources are available in each state - those common resources that many go to first type. You can buy the pamphlet at a reasonable price or the whole bundle of all states however you'd want to. Just typing in Maryland Genealogy as a web search might be something too. A call to the local Wash and Fred Cos libraries local history departments might find you a list of what is available in ea county too. People are so helpful, I'm sure others will reply to your plea as well.
