I am looking for information on Nehemiah STONE. I believe he's connected to the STONES that lived in Maryland in the late 1600 and1700's. Such as Govenor William STONE, and also a daughter of Zachary WADE'S (Theodosia), who married a William STONE. Zachary WADE was my 5x great-grandfather. I'd like to see the two families connect again. I know that there was also a David STONE , Thanks again Brenda

There are only two grooms in the index - William/Sus. Leighter 6/14/1800 and Ezra/Lucy Ann Smith 12/6/1832 . The index runs from 1799 - 1860 The Distribution of Estate Accounts 1778-1832 lists only two females, Mary and Elizabeth There is an equity case over two Piper estates in The Torchlight, Nov. 30, 1824 and two people mentioned in the case are John Stone and Mary his wife. The only Stone in Vol. III of the cemetery records is Ezra. There are 14 Stone burials in Vol. II. There is a William H. buried in the Boonsboro Cemetery who died in 1888 at age 47 years. Are your certain of the county? Washington County formed out of Frederick in 1776 so anything earlier would be there. Good luck!
