The Valley Register Friday, January 11, 1895 Middletown, Frederick Co., Maryland WASHINGTON COUNTY The wife of Mr. Wm. D. KAUFMAN, agent for the B. & O. Railroad Company at Keedysville, died on the 30th ult., after an illness of eight weeks, of typhoid fever, aged 29 years. She leaves a husband and three small children. Gruber W. CASTLE and Van L. WOLTZ, both of Williamsport, had a shooting match in Hagerstown New Years Eve. CAASTLE fired two bullets through WOLTZ's coat, but neither was hurt. CASTLE and his wife have had a falling out and it is said that WOLTZ is the cause.
