Hi Roger, I was just wondering whether you any information on any more TRAVIS ? I have a 3x great grandfather named James CRONK who in the 1850 census for Bennington, Morrow Co. OH lists as his wife Sarah. Now I have been corresponding with a distant cousin who told me James was married to a Sally TRAVIS. Later on their family moved to Montour, Tama Co. IA. Actually they were part of the founding fathers of Montour.His son William Henry CRONK took his family and moved to Dixon, Lee Co. IL. I know sometimes women with the name Susan or Sarah, also would go by the nickname of Sally. Up til now I haven't come across anything on her. The census says she was from New York. Thanks, Brenda
