Thank-You Nancy for explaining why these families migrated West. If any families did come I believe before 1846 they would have had to contend with Indian attacks. Some families who may have migrated in the 1700's probably stopped in Indiana, Ohio, or went south into Kentucky, Tennessee, some even I believe went to Georgia and later on into Texas.(Late 1700's or early 1800's) I hope I'm correct in saying this.
