Hello fellow listers, This was posted to another mailing list, I thought there may be researchers here that may find useful. If some of you are interested in seeing some original state atlases..there are some at http://www.genealogyatlas.com/index.htm. Earliest being 1795, 1814, 1822, 1845. New maps are being added. They have created 3 different formats to include: pdf, jpeg and html. Choose which suits your viewing pleasure best. Use the PDF format because you can zoom in and out and print them easily from your computer. Allow a few moments to load if you are using a dial-up connection. But they are worth the wait. I've had no messages and that is so unusual for this list. Lonely, Karen
