Patsy, Sir John's Run is located along the Potomac River in Morgan Co., WV between Berkeley Springs and Great Cacapon. The Morgan Co. Historical Society is located on the second floor of the public library in Berkeley Springs and the court house is only about 1½ blocks away on the same side of the street. Berkeley Springs has a lovely hotel and several lovely bed and breakfasts located within two blocks of the library and court house. I don't know if the hotel across from the court house is called the Berkeley Hotel or not but it is quite well known for its fabulous cuisine and mineral spas. I have heard several locals say if you don't have one of the wonderful massages at this hotel, you have cheated yourself out of the most delightful experiences ever. in fact, I know of several people in the Hagerstown area that go to Berkeley Springs several times a year just for the massage. Have a fun trip and good finds wherever you decide to stay.
