Gordon: Leitersburg is a small town (several hundred people). There is no funeral home in the town. Some which have been in business for many years which would possibly have burials in Leitersburg are: Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E.Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD 21740 -(301)-739-6800 ; Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home (no relation), 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD 21740 (301-739-1414); possibly the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA 17268 (717) 762-2811. These are long established funeral homes, or successors of other funeral homes. Waynesboro, PA is only a few miles from Leitersburg, and could well serve families in that area. The Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg, MD and the Douglas E. Fiery Funeral Home in Hagerstown are more recently established, and not likely to have records back into earlier years. Good luck.
