Hi! I'm new to the list and looking for anything having to do with John VanBuskirk (born 1743 PA, died 1829 MD) and his wife, Maria 'Mary' Blackmore (born 1742 MD, died 1823 MD). Nancy
Don't know if this is any help, but it may be a clue. There were both Van Buskirks and Blackmores in early Philadelphia. From Marriage records of the First Presbyterian Church: 5, 17, 1735, Vanboskirk, Jane, and Philip Conine 7, 5, 1743, Blackmore, Henry, and Anne Crawford. ----- Original Message ----- From: Nancy To: MDWASHIN-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Friday, August 06, 2004 6:58 PM Subject: [MDWASHIN] VanBuskirk & Blackmore Hi! And then to points West... On David Kipp Conover's site: http://www.conovergenealogy.com/ancestor-p/surname_index.htm in the index are Van Buskirk/Van Boskirk/Van Bushkirks etc. as well as Blackmar and Blackmore families. Check it out. Good luck! Joe in CA
